Carbon Steel EN 10084 generally consist of 0.10-0.20% C, 0.30-0.60% Mn, with a 0.035 % max content of P, S and 0.80-1.10% Cr for increased resistance to wear and strength The EN 10084 pipes are provided with tensile strength of 550-700 MPa, yield strength of 300 MPa, and elongation of 10-15%. Depending on heat-treatment hardness ranging from 156-207 HBW, with good machinability and high case-hardening properties, they are suitable for gears, shafts, and automotive parts.
