The chemical makeup of AISI 52100 Bars includes carbon, chromium, manganese, along with small amounts of silicon and sulfur. The high levels of carbon and chromium contribute to their outstanding hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength. On the mechanical side, these bars showcase high tensile strength, exceptional hardness, good impact resistance, and the capability to endure repeated cyclic loads. Heat treatment methods like quenching and tempering further boost their hardness, toughness, and dimensional stability, making them ideal for precision applications.
