The Carbon Steel BS6323 Pipe is essentially a carbon steel material containing carbon and variable amounts of manganese, silicon, and trace elements. This material is strengthened and made to last. It typically contains carbon at 0.18-0.23%, manganese at 0.60-0.90%, and silicon at 0.10-0.35% and has very small amounts of sulfur and phosphorus.In mechanical terms, it offers high tensile strength up to 410 MPa, yield strength at a minimum of 250 MPa, and up to 20% elongation.
